UK Government announces £200 million fund for ports 

 

The UK Government has announced a £200 million pound fund to help ports deal with post Brexit strain. The new funding is to support the building of new facilities at ports in preparation for the end of the transition period.

Government announce new UK Global Tariff 

 

The Government has this morning (19 May) announced the UK’s new MFN tariff regime, the UK Global Tariff (UKGT). This will replace the EU’s Common External Tariff on 1 January 2021 at the end of the Transition Period.

This week we have seen many factories and businesses return to work following the extended Lunar New Year holidays due to the Covid-19 / Coronavirus outbreak.
