Get ready for Brexit

The UK Government have announced that the UK will leave the European Union "come what may" on the 31st October. Whilst this has been fiercely debated in Parliament over the past week with calls for an extension to Article 50, the Prime Minister has stated he will not ask for an extension.

We understand that our customers may well be feeling confused about what direction the UK is going in and whether there will be a deal agreed or whether the UK will leave with a no deal on the 31st October.

There has been very little information published about how to prepare for Brexit until now.......

INTRODUCTION OF REMOTE CONTROLLED YARD CRANES (RTGS) AT THE PORT OF FELIXSTOWE

Over the past few months the Port of Felixstowe have been installing and testing their new remote controlled yard cranes. Having been asked to provide vehicles to help test them, we have seen first hand the benefit these will have to the ports operations in the future.

While these are still very much under trial we have been told that they are looking to roll out the remote control aspect of these cranes in the 4th Quarter this year if all goes to plan.

A huge congratulations to the Piekarski Family. After 12 years of living and working hard in the UK and a few rollercoaster months to say the least, they have been granted British Citizenship.

Karol worked for Prologic for nearly 8 years and was a valued member of our team and well and truly part of the Prologic family, but unfortunately and reluctantly from his behalf he had to leave for personal reasons. Despite this Karol remains a close friend and will always be a part of our family.

We couldn't be happier for the whole family and wish you all the best as British Citizens!

Congratulations to Tomasz!! Our longest standing driver with over 10 years service. We want to say a big thank you to Tom for all of his hard work over the years and we look forward to working with him for another 10 years!

Tomasz started with us and had very little experience but over the years he has become an integral part of our team and is now one of our lead drivers.

We hope you (or your daughter) enjoy the new iPad and the additional holiday earned and well deserved for your loyalty and hard work. Thank you very much from all at Prologic!
