GRIDSERVE begins building the UK’s first public electric HGV charging hubs 
 
GRIDSERVE has started constructing the UK’s first public electric HGV charging hubs, marking a major milestone in the country’s transition to cleaner road freight. These new locations form the foundation of the Electric Freightway – a nationwide programme designed to give fleet operators access to high-powered, public charging designed specifically for electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs).

Port of Felixstowe expands autonomous truck fleet 
 
Hutchison Ports Port of Felixstowe has confirmed an order for a further 34 Autonomous Trucks (ATs) from Shanghai Westwell Technology Co. Ltd (Westwell), doubling its fleet and cementing its position as a leader in port automation.

Government unveils plans for HGV charging infrastructure 
 
The government have announced 54 new infrastructure hubs at the recent ZEHID progress summit. Charging infrastructure is due to be strategically located across England, Scotland and Wales with a mixture of semi-public depot charging and public charging on motorways and A-roads.
