This new system will comprise of 3 elements: 

 

 

This element offers live locations of our vehicles wherever they are, which helps our transport team with their planning as well as allows us to provide customers with up to date locations of their cargo. We have even gone one step further, by linking this new tracking system to our transport operating system we are able to provide customers with their own online portal, where they can login and view all of their booking details, obtain POD's, but most importantly view live locations of where their cargo is at any time, offering full visibility. 

 

This element of the system allows us to gather live data of vehicle activity, driving behaviour, fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions. This will help us improve driver behaviour through training, which will improve safety for them as well as other road users. We are also committed to reducing our carbon footprint and by analysing and using the data we receive through the system, we are able to build training programmes in order to provide our drivers with the training required to minimise our impact on the environment. 

 

As Ronseal would say "It does what it says on the tin". 360° CCTV will provide our drivers with live footage of forward, side and rear facing cameras, connected to an in-cab monitor allowing them full visibility of their surroundings which improves their safety as well as other road users.
